Private Events



Room Rentals

Whether it is a rehearsal dinner, birthday party, family get together, holiday party or sports banquet, our menus have stood the test of time and the approval of countless Mackinaw's customers. The warm, cozy confines of the rooms combine a stone fireplace, cathedral ceilings and pine furnishings with a full service bar. 


The outpost

The outpost is fully enclosed and located on our main floor. It has its own private bar and fireplace. Seating is limited to 40.

The Loft

The loft is only accessible through stairs, has tall cathedral ceilings and overlooks the main floor. Seating is limited to 80.


Rental Times

10am-3pm

4pm-8pm

You can arrive 1 hour prior to the event for set up


Rental Minimums

Sunday-Thursday (outpost) $500 food and beverage minimum

Sunday- Thursday (loft) $800 food and beverage minimum(40 person minimum)

Friday am and Saturday am (outpost) $500 food and beverage minimum

Friday am and Saturday am (loft) $800 food and beverage minimum

Friday pm and Saturday pm (outpost) $ 1000 food and beverage minimum

Sorry the loft is not available on Friday or Saturday evenings. 


All food and beverages are required to be purchased through Mackinaws on either the pre-order plated, platters or buffet menus. 




Platted Lunch

Please create a menu by selecting 2-3 food options. Final menu selection and accurate food counts are required 4 business days prior to the event. All salads are served with a corn bread muffin and all sandwiches, wraps, or burgers are served with thick chips. 

Salads

Raspberry Chicken Salad- Blended lettuce topped with raspberries, walnuts, red onions, tomato wedges, chicken breast and a Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing. $13

Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad- Crisp romaine lettuce tossed with Parmesan cheese, crispy croutons, and house Caesar dressing topped with grilled chicken. $12

Santa Fe Chicken Salad- Grilled chicken breast atop mixed greens with roasted red pepper corn, black beans, shredded cheddar, pico de gallo and a side of salsa and ranch. $13

Sandwiches 

California Club- Two slices of cranberry wild rice bread toasted and layered with smoked turkey, bacon, red onions, tomatoes, Provolone cheese, pesto aioli and baby greens. $15

Grilled Mack Reuben- Slow roasted corned beef, thousand island dressing, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and black Russian rye bread. $14

Wraps

Slice Apple Turkey Wrap- Hickory smoked turkey breast, granny smith apples, Door County cherries, baby spinach leaves, cheddar cheese, and Dijon cream cheese. Served in a healthy spinach wrap. $14

Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap- Diced chicken, shredded lettuce, bacon, tomatoes and ranch in a chipotle wrap. $14

Burgers

All Burgers are done medium/medium well

Mackinaw Burger- 1/2lb. Certified Angus Beef patty served on a toasted bun. $16

Bacon Cheese Burger- 1/2lb. Certified Angus Beef Patty topped with cheddar cheese and bacon. Served on a toasted bun. $18


Plated Dinner

Please create a menu by selecting 2-3 food options. FInal menu selection and accurate food counts are required 4 business days prior to the event.  A house salad, steamed vegetables, baked potato and dinner roll are all served with all menu options.


Steak

All steaks are done the same temperature, between medium rare/medium

Tenderloin- A handcut, 8oz. chargrilled USDA Certified Angus Beef tenderloin $44

New York Strip- 14oz. Certified Angus beef strip chargrilled to perfection. $37

Seafood

Cedar Plank Salmon- An 8oz. West Coast Salmon Filet lightly seasoned, grilled and served with dill sauce. $30

Baked Icelandic Cod- A 12oz. steamed cod filet, seasoned with lemon pepper butter, sliced lemon and our homemade tartar sauce. $23

Chicken

Mushroom Wild Rice Stuffed Chicken- 8oz. chicken breast stuffed with wild rice and mushrooms, topped with a creamy Marsalad wine sauce. $30

Cheddar Broccoli Stuffed Chicken- An 8oz. chicken breast stuffed with cheddar cheese and broccoli. Topped with a creamy white sauce. $25

Pasta

Shrimp Scampi- Fresh jumbo Gulf shrimp sauteed in a white wine garlic sauce with onions and bell peppers. Served over linguine topped with parmesan cheese. $26

Elk Stroganoff- Slow Roasted elk meat with onions and mushrooms in a creamy stroganoff sauce served over fettuccini. $30

Vegetarian 

Pasta Primavera- A creamy parmesan white sauce served over fettuccine noodles, topped with mixed vegetables and parmesan cheese. $20


Buffet

Please select 1 buffet option. Buffets are not all you can eat, food is portioned out by the amount of guest stated at final confirmation. A minimum of 20 people is required for all buffets. 

Tenderloin- A 6oz. Certified Angus Beef Tenderloin per person served with steamed vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, house salad and dinner rolls. $32 per person

Barbecue Ribs- 1/2 Rack of BBQ ribs per person. Served with apple wood smoked baked beans, steamed vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, and a dinner roll. $23 per person

Chicken Marsala- Grilled chiekn topped with creamy mushroom marsala wine sauce. Served with steamed vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes and dinner rolls. $28 per person

Pasta Bar- Pasta Marinara, fettuccine Alfredo, grilled chicken, house salad and breadsticks. $25 per person

Build  your own Steak or Chicken Fajitas- Grilled chicken or steak, peppers, onions, tomatoes, sauteed in a red pepper wine sauce. Served with spanish rice, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese, salsa and sour cream. $18 per person

Taco Bar- Soft shell tortillas, seaoned taco meat, Spanish rice, refried beans, lettuce tomato, shredded cheese, salsa and sour cream. $16 per person

BYO Burger Bar- 1/2lb Certified Angus beef patty per person. Served with buns, lettuce, tomato, raw onion, cheddar cheese, pickle spears, thick chips and cole slaw. $18 per person

Wraps and Sandwiches- Assortment of wraps and sandwiches with fresh fruit and thick chips. $15 per person

Breakfast Buffet- Scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns annd fresh fruit $15 per person

Platters may be purchased in addition to plated or buffet menus. Final tray selection is need 4 business days prior to the event.

Room Set up

 Banquet rooms will be available for set up 1 hours prior to the event. Earliest arrival for the morning slot is 9am.

Decorations 

All decorations are the responsibility of the guest. Mackinaws will not be held accountable for any lost or damaged items. Confetti and glitter are strictly prohibited. Banners may be hung using masking tape. No scotch tape or duct tape. Please be sure to remove all tape once event has finished. Per fire code all candles must be in an enclosed glass container.Any items left after the event will be disposed of.

Tables

We use a 4x4 table that can be pushed together to make any size table. 

AV Equipment 

The only AV equipment Mackinaws has is a screen. All projectors, laptops, easels will need to be brought in. 

Music

Because our resturants sound system is connected to our dining room we unfortunately can not play specific music. 

Payment

Payment is due at the end of each event. Menu prices are subject to change. Prices do not include sales tax (5.5%) or gratuty (20%)
